The candidate should have passed Standard XII/HSC or equivalent examination in 2021, 2022, or appearing in 2023. Relaxation of 5 years is given to candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC category (can apply if they are born on or after 1st August 2003)
The candidate should have a minimum aggregate of 60% in standard X/ SSC (55 % for the candidates from SC/ST/ PwD category) and should have passed standard XII/ HSC or equivalent examinations.
Age: The candidates must be born on or after 1st August 2002 to apply for IPMAT 2023.
Candidates should have passed Standard XII/HSC or equivalent examination in 2021, 2022, or appearing in 2023.
The candidate must have passed Standard X/ SSC or equivalent examination in the year 2018 or later.
Qualifying Examination-Candidate should have a Minimum 60% in standard X/ SSC and standard XII/ HSC or equivalent examinations (55 % for the candidates from SC/ST/ PwD category). Candidates who are likely to complete standard XII/ HSC or equivalent by the end of July 31st, 2021 can also apply.
Applicants pursuing their XII standard from international schools affiliated to foreign boards like IGCSE (International General Certificate for Secondary Education) and IB (International Baccalaureate) can also apply.
The IPMAT exam is held in 3 stages, i.e., Aptitude Test, Written Test, and GD/Personal Interview. The aptitude test consists of both objective and subjective questions. Negative marking of 1 mark is applicable for every wrong answer in objective questions. The exam patterns followed by IIM Indore and IIM Rohtak are different for IPMAT.
Note: Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the exam pattern for IPMAT may be changed by the IIM conducting the exam. Revised exam pattern will be revealed in IPMAT notification.
Negative marking of 1 mark is applicable for every incorrect answer in MCQ-type questions.
